Recently took this tight portrait, with which I tried to catch the emotion in the eyes.

Critique is very welcome so please don't hold back. :D Also, I would like to know if the desaturated look fits this photo.

pretty nice for a new guy, though you may want to use a longer lens, since this one distorted your subject's facial features. could be nice in BW as well. Mind you - that this is not a photo - here there's an image of a subject. There's a difference. ;) start creating photographs as soon as you can :)
