A couple of blackbirds were nice enough to pose for me. The Red-Winged male has a deformed beak and the Yellow-Headed was just plain noisey!

Great shots Tim....good exposure on the blacks. I sure wish we had the yellow headed black birds down here.

Is the Red Wing one of your yard birds? Just wondered, cause I have several generations of them, both male and female, that come to my yard for food. They are becoming quite tame, which is just bizarre to me. Never thought of these guys as a yard bird like a Robin. :)

Thanks Sharon.

We only get them during migration here in Houston. I saw these birds in Jackson, Wyoming.

Hi Mitch. No, these birds were in Jackson, Wyoming. We get them here in Houston, but only during migration.
