Excellent work, very impressive. Puffins are high on my list of must-see someday.

I'm curious to find out more about the Farne Islands, I've seen images taken there before. Is it a day trip by boat only? Can you stay on the island to shoot in the evening and morning light? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Not sure of your location, Nighthound, but....

If the weather's cr@p (bearing in mind this is the English North Sea coast ) the boats won't go out from Seahouses as the swell can be awful for landing on the island.

My suggestion for early morning & evening Puffin shots would be around Flamborough, further down the coast in Yorkshire, where they nest on the mainland cliffs.

Richard
