I was walking by and noticed a bunch of white lens and photographers.

What the heck they only use 1D series and L lens? There was bodies and lens all on the wall too.

The queen was in town and they all had press id.

I went up to them and felt low with my 5D II and 24-105 F4 IS.

I'll bet all their backs are killing them though carrying that much gear around, so you have that over them.

I'm envious for sure. Those guys are so serene with the knowledge that, if mugged, the fancy equipment is all insured by their employer. If I ever went walking though my city with those white lenses just hanging off my back. . . .

They don't make enough to afford downtime for forums.

They are working, or at least waiting to work, using the tools they require. I don't imagine anyone even gave a thought about your 5D and 24-105. The one on the left seems to be a friendly type.

Don't over glamorise the profession, its a job just like any other, with its good and bad sides.

  that's so funny, I guess I captured his expression at the right moment.

He was probably wondering how come this guy taking a picture of us. The 200 F2 lens sure looks nice. On the other side of the wall there was another 2 camera and about 3 lens on top of bags and on the ground on top of a coat.

The guy on the right was packing 2 camera too. Looks like they are all packing 2x1D Series and huge white lens.

That guys with the beige coat said..."I'll just throw this $5000 lens on the cement here, hopefully it won't get knocked over on the ground while I chat with the boys"
They are probably talking about the Nikon guys across the street.

Amen! I love the results these lenses give but it sure is a pain to use em. Not to mention the mugme white bullseye they paint on your back.

Cheers,
