Thanks guys.

Dekun: I do do a bit of PP on most of my photos. I bought Lightroom last year so do some things in there. I first generally try and balance the exposure without blowing the highlights. For punch I tweak the tone curve a bit and add a little vibrance (I've got stauration turned down a bit on the S3 to let me do it myself later). And that's about it - I try not to overdo it.

I sometimes use the grad filter in Lightroom to try and balance skys though for the landscape above I had a ND grad filter on the camera anyway so I don't think it needed it.

When I had my S2IS I was pretty active on this forum. I have since sold it to people who use it all the time.

Hi,
I usually lurk here and enjoy all the great discussions and pictures. I saw this post and thought I would post a couple from my S5.

This picture is of Pawnee Pass and Long Lake near Brainard Lake, taken last month with my S5. I did some cropping and slight saturation.

This one was taken last spring, on super macro, with the wind blowing, holding in my hand.

I'm still using my S5 also. IMO, there just hasn't been enough upgrade in the SX series to replace it yet. I do wish Canon would combine the high sensitivity sensor of the G series with the tele-zoom capability of the SX's for my ideal advanced P&S...
Here are a few recent shots around home:

These are some of my most recent shots with the S5. I still love the camera, but that new SX30 IS sounds tempting. I'm looking forward to playing with it in person at Best Buy.

These first few are from Fiji.
