HELP recovering raw files

I shot some senior pictures in raw on my 50d. I can veiw them on my camera but they will not open in photoshop or LR. Cs4 saying wrong type of document. The guy shooting backup his files will open. Help me recover these!!

You need to update your codec files or your software.

It sounds like you need to update the ACR plugin to the latest version - Try opening them in DPP to see if they are OK.

Open Photoshop and go to Help > Updates. Start the Adobe Updater and close Photoshop...the Updater will install the latest compatible version of Adobe Camera Raw for CS4.
