If you check their feedback things are generally positive and thousands of sales. More than one person commented that the items appeared to be used, demos, or less than pristine. Maybe factory seconds?

I am always afraid to spend that much money abroad.

Thanks, saw that. But what makes me feel better is those all seem to be on used items which they also sell. I saw a Zeiss 35mm go for a stoopid low best offer bid sometime ago.

Have you checked to see if they are authorized dealers of Zeiss equipment. That would affect the warranty

I got some of my Zeiss lenses from them and they turned out alright....shipping took about 1.5 to 2 weeks. Items were exactly as described. They appear to be new altho they could be a display model. But as long as it looks new, it works flawlessly for a lot less than new price then I'm a happy customer.
