Went to the second event in the 2010 Norwegian Formula Offroad cup last weekend and here are some of my catches:

There sure are some wipeouts in this sport. The driver was OK as you can see as he tosses his neck collar up in the air after getting out of his ride.

Here's a panorama (external link) I did before the event started. [6.5MB] I wasn't even at the top when I shot it. I would guess that the hill was somewhere around 150 feet.

I havne't seen that live personally, but if you take a look at the link below, they seem to be having some hydroplaning going there. I've no idea how deep it is there.
