That is certainly one way to look at it.
Another way is to see that negative feeback is nothing more than public lynchings. These threads are really just finger pointing that serve no purpose other than flame wars between parties. We are not the police, the judge or the jury. It is not our job to decipher what has gone awry. Therefore it has been our long time standing not to allow such discussion to take place on this forum. Just like we ask that all negotiations take place privately we ask that all disputes be handed the same way. Please remember that this is a private forum, one in which Pekka has graciously allowed us to use. His stance on this is firm at this time.
I see the logic in it all, but sometimes things like that are necessary to the majority of us all, especially when dealing with high dollar items. But I do understand that some people don't have the capacity to be civil, and it's because of them that things like negative feedback get out of hand. On the major VW forum I frequent, each seller/buyer has their own thread within a feedback section of the forum, and is actually very useful and has created a good peace of mind within the for sale section which includes, high dollar cars, high dollar rare parts, wheels and such.
