As a Mod on a large UK Metal Detecting forum I know the sort of work that goes on behind the scenes, well done guys keep up the great work.

I remember that some changes went into affect to help combat spam. Something about minimum posts and/or minimum time on the forum. What is the rule now? I'm trying to PM someone to ask them to stop bumping 1 year old+ threads, but they cannot (or decided not to) receive PMs.

Or were these rules specific to the Buy/Sell forum?

You should have no problem sending pm's. If you like to test you can send a pm to me. It is more likely that the member in question have chosen not to receive pm's.

Marketplace 30/30 or 15/15 type limitations to sending PM will be done, though they are not yet in place. Some people refuse PM's, and they have right to do so, as long as there is such an option available.
