I can say with little doubt that's quite cropped. To get the moon to nearly fill the sensor like that would take about 900-1000mm focal length. (Unless it was taken on a camera with a small sensor of course.)

Yes it was cropped! I would guess that image is around 30-40% of the entire image :D
