Out on a portrait session this evening with my 70-200mm, this little guy was following us around. Still needed a heavy crop.

Red Wings seem to be acting very strange these days. I grew up on a farm with them all around, but they would never come close or allow you to get close. Now, I have several generations of them that come to my yard feeders every day and have been now for 4 years. They are quite tame, allowing me to come within 10 feet or so. That just seems pretty strange to me. :)

I agree, very tame indeed, there is always one looking at me and singing when I am running on the trail by my house, he never seems to be bother by me, even if I'm a few feet away.
