I find them to be a little soft. Also I find the black vinyl distracting. Feel like my eye is drawn to the shiny - ness of it. #3 is just a snap shot. And the colour seems a little off to me. And like Jimbo said, keep an eye on cutting parts of her legs etc... out.

My .2c worth.

I would also use a faster shutter...there are several where the baby's arms are moving and you are capturing the movement rather than freezing it... the blurriness it causes is distracting..

Adorable shots! I would say...
She needs some more light on her face in all of them
The wrinkled background is distracting so maybe a not so distracting background would have been better
In some of them her eyes aren't in focus
The colors look a little off

Cute!

Your white balance is wonky in all of them. Your focus is pretty good, but the compositions are horrible for this little one. Everything except the last is uncomfortable to look at.The light is very bright in #4...

Can these be re done before you send them off? Or was this a one time....
Just saying there are far better places for the babe to have been for an ideal photo.
I sent you a pm...

you're a great friend, but if Zombies chase us, I am tripping you.

What a cutie! The focus is off the child and somewhere behind in all of these - if you look at the couch and the t-shirt of the one holding the child, they are all in focus but not the child. Is your 50mm backfocusing or where did you have the focus point? Always go for the eyes. I'm not sure you can salvage the focus issue on these. The parents may not be as particular as we are here, but I wouldn't be happy sending these off with my name on them. Is there any way you can re-shoot? :)

Thanks a lot folks. I had trouble with the focusing part on the 50 mm. I get to see the family at least once a week so there will be a reshoot. :)

The shots were all imrpomptu and we didn't plan it at all. The couch, well I'll try to find a better background

When i get a chance I'll post the exif.

Once again, I really appreciate everyone's comments.
