I had the pleasure to do Mr. Robert C. retirement pictures for him last month.
I have not had time to post pictures, but I wanted to share with the CDPF peeps, tell me what you think about this shot, I love it in COLOR and it also ROCKS in B&W!

IMAGE: http://www.texasphotoforum.com/forum/images/smilies/grin.gif

I had the famous Photographer Wayne Sandlin business owner of Photography By Design (external link) do the prints for me and they came out GREAT!
Big thanks to him and his studio, AWESOME man, friend and photographer!

If you would like to see a better image of this shot, you can go to my website Leal's Photography by angel m. leal jr. (external link) under galleries, portrait, then fireman.

thanks for looking....

The person stands out more in color. He gets lost in the B&W version.

Dont know what it is... something isnt working for me. I think maybe more of the foreground might be better in this...

Yeah I do like the one you just posted better. If I were to crop it I think I would have cropped from the top of the image.

Nice job, colors are nice.

The only thing is the pose/position of the FF. It just looks odd....

I think it is fitting to have the retiree with his truck, its a tool of our trade. Him standing on the front bumper just kinda looks weird to me, not natural, its not something we do.

Maybe him sitting on the front bumper or leaning against the side might work. Something that would display the logo of the dept. and also the part of town he worked in, it is obscured by him in the posted shot.

JUst my opinion is all. I am sure your client will be very happy with your owkr, as he should. Congrats to him and you.

The color version is best in my opinion. Model seems a bit uncomfortable in his pose.
