Are Kingston cards good? I need some CF cards asap

The difference for 70% of us is bragging rights. However sports/action shooters that fill the buffer constantly need every mb of speed they can get. Even if that lil bit lets the buffer empty 5 seconds faster. The buffer does not have to be empty before the next shot can be taken. There only has to be enough room to put the nest frame in the buffer. So any increase lets that happen sooner. And for an action shooter that can be life or death.

If you never fill the buffer, any card will work. I still have/use an 80X card. And as I dont ever fill the buffer it works absolutley fine for me. I shop on size/price/dependabili​ty. Speed is an after thought. I simply have no need for the faster cards.

i have four 8gb 133x CF cards and they've been working great for over a year now.
