Not the best since I don't have a tracker, or a decent lens, but I managed to get a shot of Andromeda last night.

First time I've actually seen it from my house. Usually it's too bright.

Considering the untracking and the light pollution you got a very nice shot!
If you are interested in stacking and background removal just send me a PM and I can help you!
It's a great start!

Thanks :D

I would like to know more about stacking. I have deep sky stacker, but I don't really know how to use it. Also, I don't really know a whole lot about photoshop. I do use lightroom though, and know how to use it fairly well.

Nice going, it's always a thrill to capture a Deep Space Object with very little in the way of technology. Hate to be picky though, but "Andromeda" is the constellation...what you got is M31, The Andromeda Galaxy. ;)

I initially read your title as "Adorama" and I thought "you took a picture of Adorama? Why the heck is this under the Astronomy forum?"

Anyway, nice shot! What were your exposure and lens configurations?
