Here are a few from the Good Neighbor Airshow a few weeks back at the DeKalb Peachtree Airport, North of Atlanta. Panning is a skill I still need a LOT of work at, but here are some of the better shots I got. All I've done with them is resize and adjust contrast.

For the record, the last one (Blue and Yellow biplane) is a Pitts Model 12 which owned and flown by my friend Larry King (not to be confused with the other Larry King). Larry is a super guy and a superb pilot. That airplane is so high performance, it isn't even funny...

Is a great video of Larry and his Model 12 in action... well worth watching..

Thanks for the link. The show was really good, and the video was cool to watch as well.

Thanks, guys. While I did enjoy the show, I do have to say that it was probably the most disorganized airshow I've been to. A performer would land, then you'd wonder how long it would be before someone else would go up. At one point, I hung around just because I had seen the Cub, so I knew that someone was landing on a truck - I just didn't know when. There were huge blocks of time between performances. Other than that, once the acts got off the ground, they were good.

I'm guessing that the show was put on by the pilots? This is why they make them file flight plans... for when they forget where they're supposed to be going?
Ooops!
