An example of when a "whoops!" can turn into, while maybe not a great photograph, at least somewhat of a novelty:

Taken at the Trans-Am Race at the San Jose Grand Prix. In the lower left corner you can see part of the light rail line that ripped apart the Champ cars (they were actually going airborne on the other side of the track).
