I was moving some slate blocks around outside and I found an ant colony.

They had all of those moved within 10 minutes, and there were a lot of them too. Didn't manage to get a decent ant shot though :(

I had ants crawling up on my arm because of how close I had to get. I don't like ants that much...but whatever it takes to get the shot!

I really like macro photography. The next lens I get is either going to be the 100mm non-L macro, or a 70-200 and some extension tubes. And a flash!
