The crop in #2, 3, 6 seems a bit tight.

Sorry. Just subjective feeling. And many portrait pictures seem to have more space.

I also think the crops are a bit tight, number 6 is an excellent shot but it's cropped to close to her head and left hand.

Yeah, I guess I can see what you're saying. I was fighting the backgrounds though, it was hard to keep them from getting too busy.

So, you also thought that it might be a bit tight. Then why did you ask me that question?

Well I guess I'm still not sure if I think they're too tight.

EDIT: I tried cropping a bit looser and replaced the ones in the original post.

Cute pics...I think the white balance is significantly off in #4, though. It really stands out from the rest of the pictures in that regard.

#2 is probably my favorite...despite the hot-spots, I think the image is well captured, with a super-huge smile displaying a genuine sense of joy. I like!

Thank you! And it's actually the processing, I was going for a sunset-ish type effect that I was hoping to get yesterday...but of course it was cloudy.

I agree; #4 is the best composed image. I also agree the white balance is a bit off. The images seem a bit cool. Otherwise a nice series. You sister and friends should be very pleased.
