spotted this spider in some of the bushes in my backyard.

can't see almost anything!
are you SURE it's a spider! (hehehe - joking)

seriously though - how many pics to you put up? I see a notation for 4, but i only got one of them on ym screen....

Looks like a cyclosa sp. They tend to leave debris in their webs and to hide amongst it. They use a whole bunch of different strategies in designing their webs.
