Nice tax all!

I just pulled an awesome blunder! Loaded a roll of film into my Zeiss and setup for a 36 shot walk around Lavender bay, anyways, turns out the film was only a roll of 24 shots. As the Zeiss doesnt' have auto anything I heard a nice little snap when the film was pulled from the spool. Should be interesting to get this one developed.

So, after looking at the camera thinking people couldn't work like this, and Zeiss couldn't be so silly I found the dial where to set the amount of exposures you have...Not that it would've made a big difference in this instance due to my lack of smarts...

Just need to unroll it inside a black bag. I had to do that a few times back in the day when I managed to tear sprocket holes.

If i bought a Second hand D700 from the states, is there any chance of getting it through customs without paying duty?

Only if it cost under $1000 (or if you can have the sender declare it under $1000)

EDIT: Oh, I take it you are bringing it back on a plane? Just don't declare it.

Cheers Dan.

Yeah, the manual advance mechanisms on older cameras can be brutal... especially when you power them with brute force ;)

Anyone know a good place to source a 20 page leather album for an upcoming album? I've looked at seldex, but want to know some other options (Lower-mid range)

I don't think I was that brutal with it though. Problem is I have no idea how many pictures I've actually taken. At least I know how to set the counter for next time.
