Was in the big smoke yesterday, went into Ted's, ask for a price on a spare 7D battery...$100.00 but out of stock. At DCW they are $83!

Went down the street into the chaos that is JB Hi Fi on a Saturday Arvo, no service for ages, but finally did get to ask about the 7 D battery, last one left in stock @ $89, but she said for me she would do it for $70, I didn't even ask for a discount. Happy!

Hi everyone, just have a quick question for anyone who can help. I'm thinking of grabbing a zenfolio or smugmug account but have no idea which of the two to go for. Does anyone have any opinions on either? I have looked at them both in the past, but not sure if anything has changed in the last few years since I was looking.

I'm happy with my SmugMug account, It just seems to work.

Sometimes a bit confusing when you want to do something "different" but AWESOME tech-support.

Okay, no more buying anything for me for a while. Just bought a L-358 Lightmeter. I've now got enough to comfortably do most shoots I want to, now it's time to master this before I sink more money =]

Hahah, I've been shooting for a while. I've just gone a little crazy lately as I've wanted to really push my photography while I can afford it and have the time. Quadra Set, Deep Octa, 18cm Reflector + Grids, Eli Softlighter is going in and out of the cart, the light meter, quadra extensions etc.

It's basically just me telling myself to shoot more.

Ps I know the addiction won't stop

I'm happy with my Smugmug Pro account, but haven't ever used Zenfolio. Richard is also a Smugmug user.

Smugmug FTW. Can vouch for their awesome tech support. Had an email 'conversation' with a smugmug 'hero' (as they call them) re: a strange gallery disappearance. But otherwise really good. I have a power level account because I dont really have any reason for a pro account yet.

In addition to using Austens (or anyone elses referral code) you can also use a promo code 'Flickr" for a 50% discount from the first year! If they still offer that. Not sure.

Zenfolio has similar reviews from its users. I like both layouts, but I chose smugmug.
