Hello guys,

I am a new 7D owner. I am looking for a good Fluid Head Tripod kit. My budget is $250-$300. I have never owned a professional tripod before, so I am not familiar with brand names.

I use my 7D to shoot videos & photos of Landscapes, Wildlife, Nature, People, Portrait, Families, Timelapses, etc. I travel to overseas once in a while.

I'd like to use my Canon Vixia HF11 on the tripod also.

Just wondering if you experts can help me choose one. :)

I really appreciate your help! :)

Thanks guys,
Low

You use the red triangular "alert" button to send a message to one of the team of incredibly responsive and helpful moderators and ask nicely.

I'll send one right now on your behalf.

Thanks EdWood, I will check out the Manfrotto 701HDV,190XDBAW Video Tripod System (external link)

The price seems to be within my budget. Reviews looks good!
Should I bother going to the store to check it out before purchase or just order it online?

thanks :)

I had the same dilemma nyzwerewolf.

I ended up buying this today: http://cgi.ebay.com …&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT (external link)
If you want a more sturdy tripod for videos you might want this one: http://cgi.ebay.com …&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT (external link)

Basically I decided between those 2 because they were cheaper than the Manfrotto one. Also, the tripod head is supposed to rival the Manfrotto 701HDV. Here's a review: http://cheesycam.com/?p=1630 (external link)

Hopefully this info helps.

Also, if you use Bing Cashback you save $12.
