I've used my newish Calumet Genesis 200's a few times since I received them and have not had any problems with mis-fires or no-fires. Last night was a different story and may shed some light on problems that anyone may have with these triggers firing at random.

I was shooting in a large room and half-way through the shoot, both of my Genesis lights started firing off randomly and in rapid fire. There wasn't much of a pattern to it, but the random rapid fires were making it difficult to shoot. Being the tech geek that I am, I looked around and saw a mobile phone sitting about 5 feet away from one of the lights. Sure enough, anytime the phone received a text message or rang, the lights went bonkers! I moved all mobile phones away from the lights, and happiness and normalness ensued.

So, if your lights start randomly firing, check for mobile phones in the vicinity and move them away! 15-20 feet away should do the trick.

Yep.....
They are all on the same Wave Length or Frequency (not sure if I'm using the correct term)..... But yea, keep any and all electronics that emit radio transmission away from your Triggers while you are using them
