I like them a lot
I imagine you were you using a tripod ?
maybe if the pictures were taken from the other side of the road though
not sure how the scene would be from that standpoint but as that dark area of tree is too much, in the top left corners of the photographs, it 'takes' from them and takes up too much of the whole scene
others will know more advice

Camera is a Canon G3: 5 second shutter at f4.

Yes, I was using a tripod, on my front porch. If I had taken pics from across the street, it would have been a pic of my house. The street dead ends, pretty much into our driveway. The tree showing in the upper corner is one in my front yard. I guess it can be distracting. I did shoot 2 from my driveway, looking down the street I live on (shooting to the left of these pics), but honestly, there was no feeling....they were ugly!! :p The lighting just wasn't there, and there were cars parked on the street.
