Sparrowhawk up close

I was snapping finches in my garden when this bird suddenly pitched 5 yards away right in front of me. I was so close that I only managed to get 3/4 of the bird in the frame - got a few shots and it was off.

7D + 300/2.8 + 1.4 tc. Thanks for looking

Wow! Roy that is a stunning portrait, I have been close to a sparrow-hawk but not that close.
