Thoughts? :)

1: Bumping after only 13 hours is a bit impatient
2: Why 300 instead of 302? (Yes, I can see the explanation about price in the review, but people will still wonder)
3: Your links don't look like links
4: I can't highlight the text while reading (Yes, a lot of people do this)
5: Are you implying I read your 102-review first? Who's got time for that?
6: Before the third picture, everything is pretty much "It's awesome and has these features!", which is no more information than what Lowepro gives us.
7: How do you switch between cameras? Is the 7D in the bag with the 5DII on a neck strap or similar?
8: I feel that the 302 and the 300 differ in more ways than the one you told us.
9: Not a single negative thing to say about it? Oh come on! No bag is perfect!
10: No ending with summary, pros, cons, recommended for, not recommended for?

I had the 300 a few years back and sold it to an aquaintance getting into photography. I found that while the design seemed like a great idea and I could carry several lenses, it never felt comfortable with that kind of weight bearing down on one strap. (it gets heavy!) I found that I still had to put the bag down many times to access and switch out lenses. It served me well for the times I used it, but I moved on to other options. Thanks for the review...

1: Bumping after only 13 hours is a bit impatient

Not really.

2: Why 300 instead of 302? (Yes, I can see the explanation about price in the review, but people will still wonder)

If you saw the explanation then why the question?

3: Your links don't look like links

Sure they do.

4: I can't highlight the text while reading (Yes, a lot of people do this)

Good. It's intentional.

5: Are you implying I read your 102-review first? Who's got time for that?

I'm suggesting, yes. If you're motivated to read one, you'll certainly read the other.

6: Before the third picture, everything is pretty much "It's awesome and has these features!", which is no more information than what Lowepro gives us.

7: How do you switch between cameras? Is the 7D in the bag with the 5DII on a neck strap or similar?

Seriously?

8: I feel that the 302 and the 300 differ in more ways than the one you told us.

How very enlightening.....

9: Not a single negative thing to say about it? Oh come on! No bag is perfect!

Not a single positive thing to say about my review either....

I'd be interested to hear about those other options. Particularly for larger lenses.

Oh yes, bumping after 13 hours is impatient. I'm glad your links look like links now. Intentionally highlighting text, how on earth is this good?

The main point is: You asked for thoughts, and that's exactly what I gave you. Secondly: I really don't care about your review at all. Therefore, answering questions I write down as thoughts, is pointless. The point of writing down these questions, is that you can reflect on what a reader thinks when reading your review, so the next one can get better.

Because that's what you want, right? If you wanted POTN to know about a camerabag you thought was great for a specific audience, you'd have posted it here.

But you didn't. You want traffic to your website. Hey, fine by me. I'll help you with improving your reviews.

But no, I will not brainlessly say "Hey, great review dude! Thinking about getting one now. Keep it up! Peace out!".

To the OP....

I just got one of these 300's a couple weeks ago and while they look to be a pretty good bag I do feel they are somewhat limited as far as some extra storage space for accessories if you get the main compartments full plus I have to agree with cscoopnj10 that it might get a bit uncomortable with some weight . I got mine on a deal so if it doesn't work out I'll find something better suited for me .

I'd be interested to hear about those other options. Particularly for larger lenses.

I went from the Slingshot 300 to a shoulderbag (TT Urban Disguise 60). Some would argue that the weight of a shoulder bag loaded with gear isn't much more comfortable, especially if you add a laptop to the bag. I would agree, but I would argue it is still more comfortable being able to switch shoulders, for me at least, than the Slingshot 300 which can only be worn one way, and my gear is still accessable, probably more so in a shoulder bag. I then sold my UD60, because I was crazy trying to lug around all my stuff at once. I went with the TT Retrospective 20 which allows me to carry just enough gear to walk around shooting, including my 70-200 2.8 IS.

I'm not knocking the bag, it offers a nice package for some people and the concept is great, but for me, it just didn't work with the amount of gear it holds.

A slingbag is a contradiction. It's designed to be able to get to your camera and lenses without putting the bag down. The design is such that it makes it impossible to do so safely.

I had a Fastpack 200, a Slingbag with 2 shoulder straps. Uncomfortable, and had to put the bag on the ground to swap lenses.

Also not very well padded for the bumps it is going to take.

I'm glad I got rid of it and went to a shoulder bag. I have 2. The Lowepro ProMag2, when I want to bring more of my gear and added, recently, a Crumpler 6MDH which is perfect for when all I need is 3 lenses with me, which is most of the time. The Crumpler holds more camera/lenses then the Fastpack did and is actually more comfortable and certainly far safer when changing lenses and not having to put the bag down. It's also considerably smaller.

Personally I would never recommend a sling type bag to anyone, for any reason. Get a shoulder bag or a backpack.

Bohdan - I may be, and probably am, completely wrong.

POTN isn't the center of the universe - there are a LOT of photography related communities out there I contribute to. So creating an article in a single location and linking to it is a necessity.

The post has generated some commentary and meaningful discussion - which of course is the intent.
