Seeing how she shoots film on a rebel, we were able to justify an early birthday and christmas gift :)

so I'll be picking up the XT, 70-200L F4, 17-40L F4, and 50 F1.8. Don't think I can get a better setup for the money (unless you can suggest a better combo for the money)

I was going to pick them up at B&H and together, they run $2214.80
I checked also at Buydig.com and that ran $2,076.95.

Does anyone have any experience with Buydig? The savings is enough to consider Buydig.

One thing that has me thinking is on the L's. At B&H, they list that they come with the soft case, caps and hood, but at Digibuy, nothing is listed. Does anyone know if the L's come with everything?

Thanks!!

express camera's has the same setup, they are a good company, the set up is for $1979.00 and comes with a few extras, like CF card, cap keeper, lens cleaner, tripod, and a special-a free vidoe camera

Thanks for the replies.

Desheeke, maybe it is just me, but I always become suspicious when I see super low pricing.
I did a little searching and will not touch that place with a 1200mm lens :p

I believe the L's should come with a hood, case (bag), and caps included. At least all of mine did... By the way, I've bought three of my lenses from Buydig without any issues.

Consider getting the Sigma 70-200 f2.8 EX instead of the Canonn 70-200 f4. The extra f-stop comes in handy for low-light, for sports, and for narrow depth-of-field. As far as I can tell, the only drawback of the Sigma is the increased weight. The price and quality are comparable.
