Looking for some simple C&C on this. This was my second edit. No major rework just bumped the saturation a few and actually darkened the image. Let me know what you think.

I like the colors, I might have cropped it a little tighter though.

This somewhere outside Columbus?

Thanks. I was wondering about the crop. I try to crop to scale so that left me on where to place the balloon.

This is east of Columbus over Pataskala. The balloon landed at National Trail Raceway.

Nice colors. Normally I'd want to see a more dynamic crop, but since it's a balloon, maybe this static framing is the way to go. ;)

I think cropping the shadow at the bottom would help. Very nice image. Great colors.

So I do like how the photos is in its original state in the first example. I like the constrast of the shadow on the ground. Having said that I do like the crop better. It gives it a cleaner look.

Here is a crop keeping the balloon centered. Should it be off to a side more or is it working where it is?

I say try much less grass and placing the balloon using the "Thirds Rule"... ;)

Looking at the balloon in the second edit, id say the thirds rule is in place here. And the thirds rule is over played way too much IMO. And its corn not grass. ;)

That last crop looks really good - wouldn't change it.

I guess it depends on "which thirds"... ;)

I also guess it's still a bit early in the growing season... :D
