While taking a couple pictures of the humming birds out back when this Bumble Bee moth showed up.. first time seeing one and hope it returns :)

Nice shots. I saw one of these moths last summer, but didn't have the camera handy. They are bigger than I thought.

i love it. that one is called a Snowberry Clearwing Hummingbird Moth. i had one come through this summer in texas while i was taking bee pictures. damn near scared the crap out of me..lol i also had an orange one come. havent found the full name for it yet. they are amazing.
