$400 in calibration & repairs - she's as good as new

Anyone with a soft 24-70 2.8L should consider calibration. Was well worth the $$ IMO

Looks great! I'll be picking my 24-70 2.8L up from the shop tomorrow....had to get it fixed after I dropped it in the water. :rolleyes: Hoping it's as good as new LOL!

We also have a 24-70 2.8 and I have been telling my husband that I think it is soft. I am such a beginner to photography that I don't know if it's the actual lense or my lack of photography skills;) Is there anyway to test this?? Is calibration covered under a warranty (ours is still current on our 24-70)?

It should. I had it done on my 400mm f5.6 one time from canon Irvine center.

Should be under warranty. mu lens is over 2,5 yrs old.
