Jul 09, 2010 19:48 | #5 i personally like the look of the pro runner. i wont be in any conditions where id need weather sealed zippers, and i need it light because all my gear and my laptop will be heavy enough as is! i wish i had a store that carried both of these bags so i can see it in person!

Its got the stealth black look. You prefer the look of it + its cheaper, so I wouldn't regret it if I were you.

I have not used the Vertex, so I cannot compare. However, the Pro Runner is a great backpack. Well padded and lightweight, it holds a lot of gear. The materials and build workmanship are top rate. My only comment would be that I wish it had more organization for the personal items. But, if you are looking for a no-nonsense backpack with cool urban styling and functionality, it is worth a look.d EOS 5D Mark III
