I snuck out a win over Mom2Twinz by the narrowest of margins! The difference between getting into the playoffs and not was 0.36 points this week.

WOW! Tom made the playoffs! Now I know why it is so cold here lately. Hell froze over!

Fate, my friend...it was this blind squirrel's turn at a nut!

So in L1 I just looked back over the year and found that I have already beat the other 3 playoff teams. I'm not sure if that is a good thing or a bad thing though.

This is going to be a good playoff... you and masterchief have beaten me before.

Good going Tom. I don't know if you remember the first year when you and I fought it out for Dead Last. Your success gives me hope.

What do you think of what's happening in Dallas? I actually found myself pulling for them against the Eagles, I usually go for the underdogs.

Mike, I'm in for next year. Maybe I'll find a nut too.

Woot! Got in in L1 and L3. I wasn't sure about L1, but Brady saved my butt.

I went from top scores two weeks ago, to barely getting 50pts this week. I sure hope my guys show up next week!

I've got a QB problem in L3, since I've lost Rodgers... but I have Josh Freeman as my backup and he's against Detroit next week... so here's hoping he can at least throw up 20.

Five wins in a row to grab the #1 seed in L2! Now I get to play the #4 seed, that has the same record as me and second most points in the playoffs!


Man that Texans-Ravens game was incredible. Like Dave said, that last drive for the Texans to tie it up was insane. Great play after great play and topped off with two amazing catches (and throws).

The Texans are a great team, but they just can't get things together. I think they really miss Demeco Ryans on Defense and Cushing isn't quite as good this year (not sure if it's the 'roids bust or if he missed Ryans that much).

LOL...I have always struggled at FFL and I'm not sure why. At any rate, I joined 5 yahoo leagues and this 1 nfl.com league and made the playoffs in ALL 6! When I find a nut, it seems I find a whole treasure trove of nuts! Of course its not all sweet. In one league I was just eliminated in round 1 of the playoffs, so maybe I'll be one-and-done across the board. Who knows...

Dallas is not a good team, that's what I think. Honestly, I think we are going to need a lot of draft work done to the secondary to eventually make it a good defense. I like our future at ILB and OLB, and our DL is pretty solid. I think we need to draft a new left OG and right OT in the next two years before the OL implodes. I think we need to feature all 3 RBs and stop putting choice on the bench to rot...keep cycling them, always playing the freshest, healthiest guy. I think we need to start looking for a solid DC with Wade gone. I think Garrett will earn the coaching job. That's what I think.

I watch the 30-for-30s on ESPN. Those are good. The Death Penalty one was on the other day. Very good bits, IMO.

I was planning on watching it after we watched Grown Ups last night. But after staying up late Sunday and Monday for football I fell asleep about 5 minutes in.
