Just some pics to share - haven't been around lately, I'm in CA right now, for 4 weeks, but I did this family session out here of my friend who is a photog as well, and I wanted to share :) C&C welcomed as always!
Hope everyone is having a great summer!! I'm looking forward to spending some time soon going through the posts I've missed!

I like these. #5's pose is very Jasmine Star-esque. #3 and #1 are my favorites.

OK, heres my take....

#1 Sorry, but I think it's spoilt by you cropping the heads off the adults (I assume thats a crop and not done "in camera") I think this shot would have been great if we could have seen them complete)

#2 Now this was getting better, great adult pose, a certain feeling of "togetherness" - but I'm afraid the kids almost spoil the pick with them just "doing their thing". It almost feels like they are there by accident.

#3 Again, getting better but the photo seems a little "disjointed" - I think the parents should make contact with each other - and the position of her feet doesn't make a very flattering pose.

#4 These are both much better! (but maybe each would benefit from a landscape crop rather than portrait)

#5 Sorry, these do nothing for me. The exposure appears off and not sure what their expressions are telling me.

#6 I'm not sure why you are cropping heads off again, but it would be improved if they were left on.

#7 Again, it looks like the adults are having a good time while the kids are left to "get on with it". I think they all need to be involved in the photo - or not be there at all.

Just my thoughts - thanks for sharing.

TJ

I like the series - fun and very casual !! even the pp in #5 & #7 - are they an action from somewhere? I've been trying to do that "golden vintage look" on my own without much success.
