Man i know this is asking for alot but do you mind explaining how you created 1,2, and 5. I experimented a few months ago with something like this but didnt results like these. Main things I wanted to know is are these multiple images merged together and what was the lighting used and was it used?

Very nice set of photos here.

Very nice set of photos here.

first off, i was in a almost completely dark room. for the lighting i just held a flashlight under my face down around my waistline. i set up my camera on the tripod and for the all of the photos i used ISO 200.

on the first photo i set it for 6 seconds with aperture 6.7. for the first 3 seconds i had my head turned to the side and for the remainder of the shot i moved my head forward.

on the second photo i set it for 8 seconds and aperture 4.5. i had my head turned to the right for the first half of the exposure and then turned my head left for the remainder. you just have to try to keep your body still and only move your head.

on the fifth photo i set it for 8 seconds at 5.6. i focused on me and then sat there for about 4 seconds. for the remainder of the exposure i slowly moved towards the lens until my mouth was about an inch away from the lens. thats what gave it that sort of "expanding effect". hope this helps and that you understand. good luck! :D

2, 4, 5, and 7 for me! 1 and 3 are ok, but not as good (for me, personally) and 6...well...just not doing nothing for me by comparison to the rest of the set.

No. 2 is my favorite though. Some kind of weird duality vibe going on...it just really sticks out for me!

Thanks for sharing these!

Very interesting and nicely done but they freak me out. They look like they are out of one of those 1960's horror pictures. All I can say is interesting.
