I have been sleepless for a While,i need a New Lens for Sports(Scoccer and MotorSports)

in the Rightcorner is the 300mm 2.8 IS USM i guess you are all familiar with the Specs,on the Down Side i Somehow feel Claustrophobic using this Lens on the Race track since i need a Good fixed Position,Costs 4400 Euro

In the Left Corner the Sigma 120-300 2.8,costs 2000 Euros, lets me a little more space to frame Shots,Downsides no IS,i don`t know if it will work with a Kenko 1.4 TC on my 7D,i don`t know much aout the IQ.
Plus for this Lens should it get the Hit ,i could still Buy me a 50 mm 1.2:oops: and 3 Pocket wizards Flex TT5.

So let your Imputs pour in, thanks

the 120-300 will have no problem with kenko on your camera. Its a great leans. Prefect for sports. I used on as my Go-to lens for about 6 years.

Canon 5Dii, Sigma 24mm f1.8, Sigma 50mm f1.4, Sigma 85mm f1.4, Sigma 24-70 f2.8 EX Macro, Sigma 150mm f2.8 Macro, Canon 135 f2L, Zenitar 16mm f2.8 fish eye (on the way)
A pile of ocf gear and modifiers.

If you are selling-on the resultant photographs of your track-side shots then the EF 300F2.8 IS will eventually pay-for-itself and for the further gear that you have listed. So for sheer IQ results you won't look back.
However, if your photography is for self-learning and development then you can never go wrong with having a variety of kit, so choosing the Sigma zoom will enable you to purchase the fantastic 50mm F1.2L lens and these 3 x Pocket Wizard Flex TT5s.
Depends on how you foresee your 'cashflow over the coming months.... - my gut instinct would be to go for the second option as you will gain greater flexibility in what/how you shoot later on.

300mm f2.8. The image quality of this lens speaks for itself. And get a 1.4x and you'll have yourself a very nice 420mm f4.
