My gut feeling is that should anything new be coming out it will be around Christmas time to take advantage of the holiday shoppers but nobody really knows if or when for sure.

Today's cameras all produce amazing results. I really doubt a new one will give you any better photos. If everyone felt this way there would never be progress. Not sure why, but call me JJ.

Seriously, there are a lot of features that would help deliver better pics. Faster/better AF, improved dynamic range rendering HDR unneeded, improved video functionality, and features not even though about yet.Top on my list though is a new sensor. It's time to move on from CMOS to some new technology. CMOS has gone about as far as it can go.

If you think today's cameras are limitting you from making absolutely amazing photos, you are wrong. +1 ^^^ "... with a clear perspective - the confusion is clearer ..."

Of course I don't, but there are limits and today and I just work around them. I'm not ready to have the manufacturers call it quits and live with what we currently have forever. Not sure why, but call me JJ.
