I use Google Chrome as my main browser. It will not show the favicon for POTN no matter what I try. It doesn't show in my address bar or in my bookmarks. POTN is the only site where the icon does not show, and Chrome is the only browser that does not show it (I also have Safari, Firefox, & Opera). Very aggravating.

Yes, it's weird too.. because they actually have an actual favicon: https://photography-on-the.net/favicon.ico

Interesting. Maybe it is something about the way transparency is used/saved in the icon. When I follow that link in Firefox, I see the icon. When I follow the link in Chrome, I don't see anything. The "inspect element" tool shows me that there is an image there, but I can't see it.

Have you Calibrated your Monkey lately?

Now more than ever we need to be a community, working together and for each other, as photographers, as lovers of photography and as members of POTN.

Make sure the bookmark is https://photography-on-the.net/forum/ (without WWW). That should solve it.

Nope. Even if I type it in with the WWW, I am redirected to the URL without the WWW. I downloaded & reinstalled Chrome last night, and I still don't see it. This only started a few months ago. I could see the favicon long ago.

Anybody find a resolution to this? I hate not being able to see the favicon in the bookmarks bar. Waste of space to have to leave the name of the website up there.

10.6.5 as well.
Safari - shows up in address bar.
Firefox - shows up on tab.
Chrome - white square.

And all of a sudden, 8 months later, halfway through the day, the POTN favicon is back!
