Got a special visit from a Saudi 747SP in Cleveland yesterday.

Really like that closer look at the 747 landing gear.

Very nice. I have a snap shot of that same Saudi 747 on film somewhere. Came to town to visit Pres. Bush once or twice.

a little too close (but the landing gear shot works) for me... more breathing room.

Yeah the gear shot is basically a 100% crop, gotta love 18mp.

Yeah I completely agree it's too tight but unfortunately I had most of the plane to the right of the frame and a lot of nothing to the left so I didn't have much to work with, first time shooting at that location.
The FedEx was my second go and the touchdown photo is basically uncropped, FF or maybe a 1D would have been perfect from this location.
