I used to work for the news weekly in Colorado Springs, The Independent. One year, I assisted one of the paper's photogs when he covered the race. We had a few intense moments standing right at the edge of the course as each vehicle came by (they run races for many vehicle classes; everything from dirt bikes to pickup trucks). I plan on taking my track car out again and am figuring a way to mount the 5d2 + 17-40. Just curious about the settings because everything looks nicely in focus on that posted video. Only an untrained eye can appreciate the sharpness of a lens...
