Some type of beetle

We've had a lot of these things around this year. I think I've heard them called Asian Beetles, but I've also heard of another (ladybug look-alike) called an Asian beetle... beats me.

These were all shot with ambient light. Overcast day, so ISO was cranked up to get a decent shutter speed & aperature for desired DOF.

Ah.. Japanese beetle. OK. Maybe I heard that but thought Asian beetle. I dunno. :)
