I finally had a chance to process my shots from the mountains last weekend. This shot was (10) 20 second exposures stacked with DSS and process in Lightroom 3 and Photoshop.
Please let me know what you think...

The stars came out well. You should try replacing the stacked foreground with a single shot of the same foreground to provide more detail in the trees. It may round the shot off, but one will have to compare both results to say for sure.
