If you don't mind, I have a few questions for those of you that use Glycerin.

1. I see that most bottles are sold in either 4 or 6 oz sizes. Do you make your 50/50 water mix by using the entire bottle at once or do you only use a small portion?

2. How long does the 50/50 mix stay good for? Does it stay stored well?

3. Which way have you found is the best way to apply the drops? Eye dropper or spray it on?

If you have any other useful tips, it would appreciated.

If mixed properly you use it to create drops that you can add to blades of grass, etc to take reflection/refraction shots.

Ah!

Did that with water and an eye dropper. Worked fine.

the advantage of glycerin is that it doesn't dry up as fast as water drops can, when it's hot or under lights. The mix should stay good for a long time, I can't imagine why it would go bad? I guess it could but if stored cool and dark, you should be fine. I always have that stuff in the house, as we add it to the christmas tree water, keeps the needles on longer - supposedly. You can use a dropper if you want just one large drop or a spray bottle for smaller and more drops.

I use Glycerine/Water mixture to make tree leave stay soft forever. I am using the same mixture for a very long time, and it is always good.
Guess it is the same for the drops.
My 2 cents.
