Very nice pictures. Are you using a polariser? If not and you do this again it would be an interesting comparison.

No polarizer. During the high sun, I used the ND filter and manual exposure. When the sun was lower in the sky, I use TV mode. The G11 is a nice camera for when you don't want to pack the DLSR.

Coming down the snow was quite soft. I also fell several times. Our guide joked about my headers on disappointment cleaver. Muir Snow field was still very soft as well. It was fabulous sunny weather as your trip was!
