Thanks guys! The lighting was really difficult to work with, since he was under heavy foliage cover with sunlight peeking through, but I'm really pleased with how it turned out.

Thanks for the kind comments folks! I haven't had time to shoot all year, and I've just been lurking around the forums now and again. But I'm on vacation now, and I don't think I could survive another year without birding!

This was shot with my father's 7D by the way, at ISO 800 I think. Lovely body for birding, I was impressed.
