what to do if it starts raining

Can we buy sort of like camera rain coats to fix over the 350D so that rain wil not get inside if it starts raining???


My good old 350D

Yes, you can buy a raincoat for your camera. Alternately you can buy a 1 series, which is weather proof.

I shoot in snowy weather a lot, and it has virtually no effect on the camera unless it is sticking to the front of the lens. In a light rain mist, I would not worry about it too much until the rain drops start seeping into the cracks and joints of the camera body. If I am shooting in rainy/misty weather, normally I lay a cloth bandanna over the camera to absorb the drops. If the rain turns into a downpour, then you need a major camera rain cover.

For a major rain cover, I use a shower cap.

Shower cap really does work. Used one in Bermuda on a scooter when I got caught in the rain. Took it from the ship when we went to the beach "just in case".
