I'm thinking about taking some classes in NYC and I was wondering if any of you (from New York City) have had some good experiences with any? I'm looking at NYU continuing education classes for the Fall Semester and I requested an FIT catalogue as well. Any suggestions would be great, I have an open mind. Right now the NYU courses I'm looking at are:

Receive critique, guidance, encouragement, and the necessary technical assistance to accomplish your goals. An annual group show of student work is arranged at a New York City gallery for a one month-long show.
I'm a beginner (been shooting for about 5 months) and I've read loads of books and think its time to step it up a notch. Thanks in advance!
