I know this is normally not how this goes.... but... I need some help with ID... I've got a bunch of plants growing outside... and these little critters are on my Habanero plants... only the Habanero plants.. they don't get on the basil, tomato, parsley, sage, thyme, etc etc etc. I'm in North West NC, up in the mountains at 4,000+ ft of elevation if that helps anyone...

so... I need help with ID so I can figure out how to kill these things and get them off of my peppers... I've tried Sevin Spray "Everything Killer" .. and that didn't work... since I do plan to eat these peppers, I'd rather not just douse them in gasoline an call it a day... but the critters have to go.

Well.. I can guarantee that they will not come and kidnap your wife in the middle of the night.
So why not just let them be? Unless your plants are covered in them from top to bottom they do no harm.

Leave them be and predators will sooner or later follow. Kill them now and then kill them again and again and again..
