Thanks for the kind words everyone. And yes it was definitely a case of right place at the right time ... but to be fair at this time of year I check every doe that I see ... they will usually let you know if a fawn is close by. Bob

Karen - If you go in early (sunrise) on Sunday morning you feel like you have the place to yourself. This photo was taken at about 8:00am. The loop isn't getting crowded until the late risers head out ... usually around 11:00 ... I try to be gone by then. Yes, I try to go during the week and early.
